Climax Springs R-IV is commencing a new year with a new theme. “Fortitudine Vincimus.” It reflects perfectly the endurance and focus it will take P/K-12 to achieve our final goal of scoring an APR (Annual Performance Report) of 14. The APR highlights improvement in both communication arts and math at the elementary level but reflects a decline at the high school level. Therefore, the elementary school will continue along its current improvement path. The high school will be implementing several new 7-12 strategies including the ALEKS program within the math department, middle school composition, 6 trait writing, adding a Title 1 aide, and the assistance of Kyla Roberts, instructional coach at the high school. P/K to 12 teachers will continue to collaborate in professional development time to focus on essential learning outcomes and assessments. “By Endurance We Conquer.”
